Epstein's Bizarre Bet: A Truckload of Baby Food for Trump?
Get ready for a story that's as strange as it is fascinating. Newly released emails from the late Jeffrey Epstein reveal a peculiar anecdote involving Donald Trump, Marla Maples, and… a truckload of baby food!
The $10,000 Baby Food Bet
According to these emails, Epstein claimed he once sent Donald Trump a “truck of baby food” after losing a $10,000 bet. The details surfaced in a batch of emails released by Democrats on the House Oversight Committee. This information came to light as part of an exchange between Epstein and new age guru Deepak Chopra, where they discussed Marla Maples' pregnancy.
Epstein, who died in 2019, reportedly told Chopra that the baby food was sent to Trump's ex-wife, Marla Maples, when she was expecting their child, Tiffany. It’s a bizarre image, to say the least.
Email Exchanges Unveiled
The email chain began with Chopra inquiring, “Btw—Do you know Marla Maples?”
Epstein responded a mere three minutes later: “Yes, In fact when she told donald she was pregnant. I lost a 10k dollar bet with him, and sent him a truck of baby food in in payment. but i have not spoken to her in many years since then.” (sic)
These emails, released on Wednesday, November 12, offer a glimpse into Epstein's interactions and references to the former president, although Trump has not been accused of any wrongdoing in connection to Epstein’s crimes.
In another eyebrow-raising comment within the same email, Epstein mentioned: “she can tell you the story of her friend who was caught having sex with her shoes. yes -shoes.” (sic). It's safe to say that this email exchange has raised more questions than answers.
Trump, Maples, and Epstein: A Tangled Web?
The email was sent just months before Trump's first presidential election in 2016. Trump and Maples were married from 1993 to 1999 and share one child, Tiffany Trump.
Trump's first marriage to Ivana ended in 1990, with Ivana famously recounting in her book, Raising Trump, how Marla Maples approached her, saying, “I’m Marla and I love your husband. Do you?”
Adding another layer, CNN reported that Epstein attended Trump and Maples' wedding at New York City’s Plaza Hotel shortly after Tiffany was born.
Marla Maples has also shared photos with Deepak Chopra on social media, further connecting the figures involved.
White House Response and Further Email Revelations
The White House dismissed the emails, stating they "prove literally nothing." A spokesperson, Abigail Jackson, accused Democrats and the media of using this as a distraction.
Deepak Chopra, in a statement, expressed hope that "all of the truth comes out after ongoing and proper investigations" and offered to share information with authorized officials.
Other emails revealed Epstein describing Trump as "evil beyond belief" and "mad," reacting to an article questioning Trump's mental state. Another email mentioned Epstein being at Trump Tower shortly after Trump's election victory.
Further, Epstein claimed Trump spent hours at his house with one of his victims in an email to Ghislaine Maxwell.
It's a story full of twists, turns, and unsettling connections. What are your thoughts on this unusual revelation? Share your comments below!
